Where to watch a movie on Kauai- If it is a rainy day, or you just want to take a couple of hours and relax,-Like you are not already relaxed? Take in a movie. Here is a list of places where to see a movie on Kauai.
On Kauai, you will have days that are rainy or too windy to go on the boat rides. What are you going to do then? And the other thing is that after the sun goes down, there is little to do on Kauai. Under either of these circumstances, take in a movie. I know, do you want to see a movie on Kauai?
When you are asking yourself where to watch a movie on Kauai, there are 2 main stream cinemas on Kauai where you can watch a movie. You can watch a movie on Kauai at Coconut Marketplace Cinemas in Kapaa. Or, at my personal Favorite Cinema which is Kukui Grove Marketplace which is in Lihue, Kauai Hawaii. There is even a book about all the films filmed on Kauai which is: The Kauai Movie Book, The allure of Kauai and its long history as a movie location are captured in a 128 page coffee table book produced by the Wilcox Hospital Foundation with assistance from the Kauai Film Commission. Written by Chris Cook and photographed by David Boynton, the book was published by Mutual Publishing of Honolulu in November of 1996. It is organized geographically and covers everything from blockbusters like South Pacific, Raiders of the Lost Ark, and Jurassic Park to documentaries, foreign films, and surfing movies. See the movie sites during filming and as they look today. Read about the directors, movie stars, and the local heroes who have made Kauai such a popular filming location for so many years. This fascinating and beautiful book includes a guide to movie locations, at-a-glance movie facts, and over 300 full-color photographs.
